this is just full of heartbreaking truths that are just so dam beautiful.
I am trash for poetry books but I am more trash for Micheal Faudet poetry books. I find them all so eye opening and it makes my heart ache in all the right ways that I am surprised that I even feel this strongly about this book. It’s different, not straightforward like how a lot of poem books are. It’s relatable to the readers and it knows how to connect to each person in a way that they could interpret the poems based on their personal experiences.
but then . . .
Poetry books can only really be understood when the poems have actually been read by the reader.
Highly recommended for all poetry book lovers.
